About Get Fit Live Well

Personal Training For Everybody

Having worked in the health & fitness industry for 20 years, I am acutely aware of the many obstacles people have to overcome  when attempting to achieve their goals.  Not knowing how and where to start, lacking confidence, thinking you are too old to start, too unfit, too overweight or maybe just confused with all the 'expert' information doing the rounds on social media.  Sound familiar? 


I setup Get Fit Live Well to help people like you. Regardless of previous exercise experience or current body weight, whether you can run 5km or struggle to get out of a chair. No judgement, no egos, just a real desire to help as many people as possible to achieve their goals, improve their health, get fit and ultimately live well!



Knowledgeable Training Expertise

In order for me to help and work with as broad a range of people as possible, I have studied for and gained qualifications in several specialised areas. These include:  GP referral (allowing me to work with clients referred by their GP),  cardiac disease and rehabilitation, mental health, stroke , diabetes and obesity.  All in addition to my BSc (hons) Exercise Science  and Human Physiology degree and of course PT qualification. 


For your peace of mind, I am a member of  The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), membership number R0036859, here you can check my qualifications and insurance.  


I firmly believe that we can never know everything and therefore I regularly complete additional learning to really keep at the forefront of the latest thinking. This ensures you are given information that is  accurate and up to date.

I understand that adapting to new fitness habits can be difficult and at times daunting. That there may seem many obstacles in the way.


My goal is to change your view on health and fitness,  through guidance, education and support, so that it becomes a lifestyle. 


I strongly believe that if you practice healthy habits, understand the changes you are making and feel supported all the way, you will be able to obtain a level of health and fitness that truly means you can live well!
